Troop 445 at Veteran’s Day
November 11, 2012
New to Scouting?
Not sure what unit you should join?
The Gulfstream Area Council covers a large area: the Treasure Coast, Palm Beach and areas around Lake Okeechobee. You can visit the Council in person on Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens, or click here: www.gulfstreamcouncil.org.
Troop 445 meets at the Disabled American Veterans Hall on California Blvd.,
directly across from Oak Hammock K-8 School.
Troop meetings are on Tuesdays, from 7pm - 8:30 pm,
except during the first week of the month, when the Committee meets on Wednesdays.

Want to Learn the Sport of Fencing?
It's more than “sword-fighting.”
Great aerobic activity, fun sport, and is enjoyed by people of all ages, genders, and abilities.
In fact, many families fence each other!
If you want to learn more, talk to Jeff Macharyas.

Fire!
Race car driver Ryan Rust
donates 600 fire extinguishers
to Troop 445.
At the troop meeting on December 18, local race car driver Ryan Rust donated FireStop fire extinguishers to our troop for us to do with as we please. Of course, we're gonna try to sell them! Mr. Henik has them at his house. If you have ideas on how to move the product, let someone know. This could be a great fundraiser, or used as an additional item during car washes, or who knows what. Thanks, Ryan.

A Wheel Good Time

Troop 445 had a great time at the Daytona Speedway camping trip in early January.
